Our Story
It all started in the year 2015, when Amar returned to Germany from India after a visit home. His neighbor Jerry discovered an interesting package of an Indian spice blend in Amar's kitchen, which he then tried out in his own kitchen. Jerry was completely amazed and came running downstairs "You have to bring this to Germany, it's brilliant!" - That's how we came up with the idea of launching Flavors of India in Germany.
Not a lot happened between 2015 to 2020. As a matter of fact there would have been no Flavors without Corona. Flavors was born in the peak of "lockdown" months and therefore Flavors of India is a true Coronians and the team likes to call themselves Corentrepreneurs. The idea has proven itself to be a success: within a few weeks, we were able to gain many new customers and are now selling the Flavors not only through the online store but also in several popular supermarkets.

Our unique business idea contributes to this vision as we import the most authentic and fresh spice blends straight from the Himalayas and deliver it straight to households across Germany and Europe. It is our goal to enable everyone who wishes to cook the most authentic tasting India food at the comfort of his or her own home.

Our home
Flavors of India is a Bonn based startup. We are at home in the center of Bonn, right next to the Alter Zoll on the river Rhine. Every Flavors packet shipped across Germany and elsewhere always goes out with our message "SENT WITH ♡ FROM BONN"
